Natural Hair Journey – Update 1 (July 2018)

If you’ve been following along with me on my natural hair journey from the beginning with my initial natural hair post, you know that I’ve been fully natural since December 2015 after transitioning for one year. That would mean I am currently 2 years & 6 months natural! The time has flown by so fast! That also means I am well over due for a natural hair update. For the summer, I’ve decided to give protective styles a small break (well, we’ll see 🤔) & give my natural tresses some time to shine. I always wear my hair in…

Crochet Faux Locs | Bobbi Boss Bae Locs

Todays post is a hair review on the Bobbi Boss Bae Locs! If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know I wore this hairstyle for almost a month. These locs were released on April 18th online at Beauty Depot & of course I got them that night. In this post I’ve also reviewed a new favourite pair of lashes & lash glue…

Hey everyone! Today we are back with another protective style review! This time, Janet Collection reached out to me to do a review on their new product, the “Mambo Rockin’ Locs”. Below is a photo from their website showing how the hair looks in the packaging & once installed. Retail price is $9.99 was ($5.99 on sale currently) at Beauty Depot. If I’m being quite honest, I was nervous about this hairstyle. These locs really looked very, very authentic. Authentic in this context being my way of saying they looked truly matted & exactly what you think of when you…

Crochet Braids | FreeTress Wavy Senegalese Twists 18″

Hi lovlies! As you can see from my Instagram, I’ve had some new hairstyles in the past month or so. That being said, today’s review is on the “FreeTress Hair Synthetic Crochet Braids Wavy Senegalese Twist”. I have never done true individual Senegalese twists from scratch before, outside of my super jumbo Senegalese twists that I did back in 2016.     I like to be experimental with my hairstyles & wanted to try something new for a girls trip I had planned. I wanted to go with something that wasn’t another faux loc style but still cute. When I…
