Twist Out For Beginners

So I’m trying to figure out my curls & what they like or need rather. Part of that will require me doing less protective styling (a moment of silence for my faux locs & braids ☹︎) & learning what products my hair actually likes & showing the curls some serious love. Self Isolation, Wellness & Me..

During all of this self isolation, wellness has become more important than ever. Taking care of yourself, mentally & physically is crucial. To keep my mind out of what I call “the dark place” I’ve been constantly working out, morning, noon & night. If you follow me on the gram you already know, lol. Skin Care – Acne & Hyperpigmentation

Throughout my life my greatest insecurity has always been my skin. Unlike most people I know, the gift of clear skin was not in the cards for me that being said, I have always struggled with oily, acne prone skin along with post acne scarring, blemishes & an uneven skin tone.  As I write this post I can’t even begin to imagine what my skin would look like without the issues I mentioned before, never seen it! Traveling to Punta Cana – República Dominicana

I have visited four different countries in my life, for that I thank my parents. However, now that I am older & have a much greater appreciation of various cultures & experiences I’ve decided to visit new places at least once a year. My first stop this year was the Dominican Republic!
